Nature's Sustainable Beef is the premium brand of Barbets Dale Farms, raising cattle the regenerative way within Uganda's Ankole Ranching Scheme.

A different kind of beef

Most beef is raised to be cheap and fast. Ours is raised to be good — for the land, the animals and the plate. On the rolling pasture of south-western Uganda, our herds are grass-fed for life and moved across the land so it recovers rather than wears down.

Regenerative by design

Through Mobile Migratory Grazing, cattle graze an area and move on, giving grassland time to regrow. Over time this rebuilds soil, holds water and brings back biodiversity — a ranch that gives back more than it takes.

Traceable to the herd

Every cut we sell carries a herd tag. That means when you cook our beef, you can know where it came from and how it was raised. Traceability isn't a marketing line for us — it's how the whole operation is built.

Welfare and food safety first

Low-stress handling, enhanced genetics and careful processing mean healthier cattle and cleaner, better-tasting beef. We hold ourselves to the standards a premium product deserves.
